This eclipse feels monumental somehow. How, remains to be fully seen of course. But if you too feel like everything is going to change soon but you can’t quite put your finger on it, than you’re not alone. Maybe it looks like the timeline is dropping out, or like we are staring into a great dark abyss. Maybe it feels like reality itself is about to shift, or like different dimensions are vying for your attention…
Nevertheless, there is some big energy afoot. My inclination has been to do the hard work of staying as present and centered as possible. To not deny or push it away, but to embrace; breathing through the fear and grief, processing all the feelings that are coming up amidst the experience and absolutely making the inner working adjustments needed. This process of acceptance leads to deeper feelings of meaning, peace and presence as well as a sense of elevated contentment and appreciation. Feels like an important practice currently, as this looming chaos seems to be asking for our trust and faith, reminding us that things may not look like what we expect them to in the near future, from this vantage point. Like a beacon, a portend, or the caw of the crow, we know something is up. Maybe we can’t fully see the eruption yet, but in the visible distance we can see the beginnings of the smoke billowing.
I’ve lately had the inclination to send this big looming energy, Reiki. Maybe you resonate with doing the same sort of thing, but have a different spiritual tool or practice. Whatever the form may be, energy sent with intention for the greatest and highest good, is an important offering. It is truly a practice of humility, in the face of things we can not fully understand. Even the most psychic among us, can not fully know what’s to come or how the will of the universe will play out. And attempting to alter and manipulate energy based on what we believe would be the best possible outcome, will likely just prove to be unsuccessful. But by working with these energies for the greatest and highest good, we can then function as conduits. We can get out of our own way and exist in collaboration. This requires the suspension of ego, of dualistic thinking and of attachment to outcome. Because the truth is, we do not have much control over the outcome. I’m sorry to say this, but its true. Our collective destiny is a driving force, who’s path is unlikely to change course in a big way, at this time.
What we can do though, is be of assistance. We can be supportive, loving and compassionate midwives amidst the transition at hand. We can pray for or seek guidance amidst uncertainty and chaos, trusting that we will be assisted every step of the way, regardless of external appearance or circumstance. We can surrender, finally, simply being who we are, who we are meant to be at this time. And each and every one of us has the capacity and ability to do the work we are here to do, if we so choose. We all play unique roles. The spiritual mission is a profoundly sacred and intimate one. We are so deeply valued and we will all be supported in the ways we are meant to be.
As the Hopi prophecy says… “There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift, that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are being torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. The elders say, we must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above the water. And I say, see who is in there with you and celebrate.”
So, I celebrate all of us. Thank you for going with the flow and for finding yourself here with me, at this time. ❤️ Jme xo
