Greetings everyone! Many of you have been asking what helps herbally and nutritionally for MCS recovery, for detox and for symptoms, so offering and sharing some of what has worked for me personally and for members. Below are some of the herbs, nutritional foods, supplements and healing modalities and protocols that have helped, but best to work with a clinical herbalist, naturopath, environmental medical doctor, or other holistic practitioner that you trust, for a personalized protocol. For best results, choose supplements that do not include stearates.
Here is a basic list of some herbs, nutritional foods, supplements and healing modalities and protocols that I or others have utilized with regularity and effectiveness:
For Liver Healing and Support: Milk Thistle capsules, Burdock and Dandelion root tea for liver detox and healing, Schisandra tincture, sulfur rich foods (if sulfur rich foods are tolerated) such as broccoli, onions, carrots and eggs. Organic meats and/or all organic foods. Supplements: NAC (precursor to glutathione), Vitamin C (liposomal, iv, natural sources like hibiscus tea, clean supplements or powders) Turmeric Root (turmeric capsules organic, curcumin capsules, turmeric powder, root cooked in food, golden milk), Glutathione (oral capsules, liposomal, nebulized, IV), B Vitamins (oral, nebulized, IV, genetic testing recommended to determine appropriate B12 supplementation ie: methyl or hydroxo, Selenium (Brazil Nuts are a natural source).

For full body support, nourishment and healing: Nettle Leaf Tea regularly. Also a major source for calcium and magnesium. Homeopathic Remedies. (Source Homeopathy is excellent/must get through a Holistic practitioner). Organic Juices, Lacto fermented drinks and veggies. Multi Vitamin: Seeking Health has a couple great ones. Genetic and nutritional testing suggested to determine appropriate supplementation. Possible helpful supplements if needed: Magnesium. Zinc, Molybdenum, Manganese, Vitamin E. Vitamin D: testing suggested for appropriate dosage or to see if you need it.
For nervous system healing: Ashwagandha (helps to restore cortisol to normal levels), Holy Basil, Motherwort, Lemon Balm, Schizandra Berry, Oatstraw, Milky Oat Tops. Also deep breathing, laying on the earth, spending time in nature and in the woods.
For internal tremors: Flax Seed Oil, Omega 3 oils.
For overall detox: Plantain leaf tea, Plantain Leaf poultices over organs such as liver and lungs needing detox support, and plantain leaf baths. Epsom Salt/Detox baths (add sea salt, plantain leaf and baking soda for extra support). Infrared Sauna, Colonics, Coffee Enemas, Castor Oil Packs, Skin brushing, Oil Pulling. Gentle exercise like yoga, Tai Chi, Walking, Rebounding.
For lung healing, lung detox, lung reactions, RADS: Plantain leaf, Nettle Leaf and Thyme tea. Osha Supreme Tincture by Gaia Herbs. Homeopathic Lobelia, Arsenicum Album, Calm Breath by Herb Pharm, NAC or Liposomal Glutathione, Liposomal Vitamin C, Hydroxo B12. Netti Pot.

For gut healing: High quality probiotics, Triphala, Lacto fermented foods, kombucha, Beet kvass, Collagen Powder. Gluten Free diet if reactive. Sugar free diet for Candida or mold issues. Mostly dairy free diet if reactive or if reactive lung issues are an issue (with the possible exception of ghee, yogurt or raw cheese). Avoid processed foods.
Mold detox: Grapefruit Seed Extract (see above for general detox)
Heavy Metal Detox: Blue Green Algae, Cilantro, Homeopathy (see homeopath or ND). (see above for general detox)
To help normalize Histamine levels: Quercetin, Bromelain, See Seeking Health website for their Histamine supplements
Overall Nourishing Healing Foods: Fresh pressed vegetable juices, Bone broths, Organic chicken soup (with nettles, dandelion root and leaves, burdock root, reishi), medicinal mushrooms, clean seaweed sources…use your healing herbs in food as much as possible! Food is medicine.

Healing Emotional Body and PTSD related to MCS: Reiki, Meditation, EFT, neurofeedback, biofeedback, EMDR, yoga, tai chi, chi gung, cbd oil, deep breathing, trauma therapy with therapist that understands MCS, being in nature, laying on the earth (ocean, woods, etc).

These are a some basic suggestions that have helped me personally and that have helped members, but everyone is different. The best place to start is to find an Environmental Medicine Doctor, a Naturopath, a Clinical Herbalist, an Integrated Doctor or Functional Medicine doctor, or Holistic Practitioner that understands and has treated MCS. I was on a variation of the Grace Ziem Protocol (http://bcn.boulder.co.us/health/rmeha/rmehztrc.htm) for several years which basically turned my health around and had the help to do so from several excellent practitioners. Nutrition and diet are extremely important. I ate 100 percent organic, down to the salt and pepper. And also of course absolutely zero chemical products, cautious to get pesticide free clothes, bedding etc. Kept up with detox with Epsom Salt baths, Enemas (Coffee and Saline…yup they help!) and gentle stretching, rebounding and walking when able. Safe housing, away from pesticides, well water (off municipal), clean air, mold avoidance (4 years of desert living), and no wireless/low emf. (corded internet and phone).
I am personally more of an intuitive person and worked with medically intuitive and body based wisdom oriented healers, so did very few expensive tests other then basic blood-work labs and an occasional ultrasound for undiagnosed pains. I have recovered much of my health without western medical care or invasive procedures. By trusting myself and the needs of my body and with the support of great holistic practitioners, friends and family, I have made great strides. I have also made sure to give space for my heart and soul to heal. Emotional and soul healing can not be overlooked and it is so valuable to have the assistance of a supportive counselor or energy healer.
