God alone

What would you do, if you were a god alone
walking this earth
dancing because it was all
you had left
swinging and swaying to music unheard
reaching your arms out wide thru the empty and ghosted
halls of an old sanctuary
way out of site in a far away place
unknown
He was your consort
you knew him once
how could you forget
how could he leave you here
in this place
he left himself
